Banana, Blueberry & Avocado Smoothie

Like everyone, I am obsessed with juices and smoothies at the moment.

Every morning after yoga we make one for Breakfast. It’s so quick and easy to throw something together when you’re in a rush and even better it’s so good for you because it’s packed full of nutrients.


This recipe is one of my favourites and it’s a classic,  some might say boring but why does that have to mean it’s bad? Why overcomplicate something that works perfectly well. It’s simple it’s tasty and being Potassium deficient the combination of avocado and banana is a real life saver.

What you’ll need –

– banana

– avocado

– frozen berries (we use blueberries)

– dollop of Greek yoghurt

– decent glug of apple juice

then blend all together. And Voila.


What’s more this is the perfect recovery smoothie with it’s anti- inflammatory qualities. Just what you need to get all your vitamins and minerals in one easy go without the heavy meal. Perfect for Breakfast after exercise this will keep you going all morning.
